Hulugan Falls is a polished jewel everyone should really see and it is just 2 hours away from Manila. The falls is located in Luisiana, Laguna in the region of Luzon, Philippines. The town of Luisiana is a fourth-class municipality and is dubbed as the “little Baguio” because of it’s high elevation, sitting atop the Sierra Madre mountain, giving it a cooler climate than the rest of the province. Going to the falls requires a bit of trekking. The trail towards Hulugan Falls is steep and very slippery when wet. Wear proper footwear like trekking sandals or shoes. Bring trail food, packed lunch, and water.

In Luisiana, Laguna you will have the chance to visit not only one but three waterfalls namely Talay Falls, Hidden Falls and Hulugan Falls in a day.

The Hulugan Falls is very generous when it comes to water. It will feel like it’s drizzling when you’re standing near it. There are a lot of rocks below and around the falls. Best time to go is from December to February and March to May to avoid the bad weather.

The three falls are a must visit in the province of Laguna because of its cool waters and stunning view.
