Midsummer Mysteries is a fantastic collection of Agatha Christie short stories set in summertime. Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence, Satterthwaite and his mysterious friend Mr. Quin, Parker Pine are all busy solving cases from the French Riviera to English small towns, from Egypt to Cornwall, there is never a dull moment, not even when they are on holiday.
I highly recommend this collection of stories to chill out under the summer sun. The stories are intriguing and immersive: especially, I enjoyed how both Poirot and Miss Marple manage to solve cases comfortably sitting at home.
